It is a nice experience to play in Malawi and I hope to come back one day,\u201d<\/em> Eaton said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It was a good tournament for the Tanzanian golfer, having also won longest drive on hole 18, whereas Chingono also won the same accolade on hole 11.<\/p>\n<p>Eaton has won several golf tournaments including the Uganda Open three times and also the 2018 IBB Nigeria Ladies Open.<\/p>\n<p>In the A Division, local golfer Stella Ng\u2019oma triumphed with 293 gross followed by another Malawian Connie Karuku with 296 gross.<\/p>\n<p>The men\u2019s category spiced up the ladies tournament, which saw Gershom Chima finishing as the winner with 88 gross followed by Thakor Sanjay and Chris Mzokomera on 84 and 77 gross, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Several companies including Old Mutual, Sunbird, Data Com, Toyota Malawi, LonAgro, National Bank of Malawi, Corporate Colours and Sparc Systems Limited sponsored the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Mabvuto Kambuwe: Highly-rated Tanzanian female golfer, Angel Eaton, underlined her class when she won 2019 Malawi Ladies Golf Open Stroke Championship at Lilongwe Golf Club over the weekend.
