Among other issues, we are also looking at how we can support arts and cultural practitioners in terms of economic empowerment,\u201d<\/em> Chiyamwaka said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He added that one of the focus areas was the role of women and girls in arts and culture.<\/p>\n<p>Players that have benefitted from CFM include <a href=\"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/blantyre-arts-festival-in-fit-for-life-project\/\">Blantyre Arts Festival<\/a>, University of Malawi, Lake of Stars Festival and National Arts Schools Youth Festival.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sam Banda Jnr: An evaluation report for the Cultural Fund Malawi (CFM) is out, thanks to efforts of an independent consultant who shared the document with the Norwegian government\u2019s foreign ministry through the Malawi Royal Norwegian Embassy.
