It is a dance-hall single that promotes the culture of opening up and speaking out.<\/p>\n<p>Bouncy, who has been working on the album <em>Vitamin<\/em>\u2014which is replete with 15 tracks\u2014said yesterday he had concocted \u2018Dada\u2019 because he wanted to continue his mission of elevating grime and other genres.<\/p>\n<p>Grime is a genre of popular music influenced by UK garage, typically characterised by a minimal, prominent rhythm, a very low-pitched bassline and vocals by a master of ceremonies.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI did the song. I feature a dance-hall artist from Domasi called Dada Morer. The instrumental was crafted by Dkez Walker of Street Vibes Records and the audio was recorded by Postnegativ of Terminal Lab Records.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe chose the title \u2018Dada\u2019 because it is something both me and Dada Morer related to. We both get a great amount of respect musically, which makes us feel like ma dada [papas],\u201d<\/em> he said of the song, a hybrid of grime, rap and dance-hall.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His is a story of contradictions. He has been labouring, dilly-dallying even, to release <em>Vitamin <\/em>after over eight months of working on it.
