Striker Komani Msiska is also appearing on the list.<\/p>\n<p>The seven are part of the 150 soldiers who have completed a two-month peacekeeping training in Salima District, paving way for their United Nations-led mission to the DRC.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the training, Malawi Defence Force (MDF) spokesperson, Paul Chiphwanya, told <em>The Daily Times <\/em>that a new contingent of soldiers could be deployed in August.<\/p>\n<p>KB Coach, Billy Phalamba, confirmed the development but indicated that he is yet to receive official communication from MDF.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI have just heard that some of my players are leaving for DRC but I cannot confirm this because some of them they are still training with us. We will communicate once we receive official communication. Of course, losing seven players is a huge setback but I have capable replacements,\u201d<\/em> Phambala said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In the 2018 season, KB missed the services of Mustafa Salimu, Harvey Mkacha, Vincent Mphepo, Sekani Mhango, Kelvin Hanganda and Zinjani Yona who went to the DRC and are yet to return.<\/p>\n<p>KB finished sixth on the 2018 Super League log table with 38 points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Williams Gondwa: TNM Super League side Kamuzu Barracks (KB) could be without seven key players in the 2019 season as they are expected to leave for peacekeeping duties in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
