He played for 45 minutes and did well in his first game against a team which is top of the league in Azerbaijan,\u201d<\/em> Mitchel said in a written response.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Recently, Flames Coach Ronny Van Geneugden (RVG) said the return of Ngalande to Europe was good news for Malawi.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe are happy to hear that Robin has finally found a team in Europe after six months of hunting. He can now start training with the group and also work hard to regain his form,\u201d<\/em> RVG said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The former Civo United forward joined South Africa\u2019s Mamelodi Sundowns Academy in 2009 before he was spotted by Atletico Madrid\u2019s academy setup in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>He spent two years with the Spanish club before returning to South Africa to join Bidvest Wits on a two-year loan deal.<\/p>\n<p>Ngalande has also played for South African teams such as Bidvest Wits, Baroka, Platinum and Ajax Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p>Zira, also known as The Eagles, are based in the Azerbaijan capital of Baku and are on position eight in the country\u2019s Premier League, with 14 points from 17 games.<\/p>\n<p>Neftchi top the log table with 38 points from the same number of games, just one point above Qarabag FK.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Mabvyuto Kambuwe: On-and-off Malawi national football team forward, Robin Ngalande, got a feel of Azerbaijan\u2019s Premier League last weekend when he played in the entire second-half for his club FC Zira in a goalless draw against Neftchi.
