{"id":74537,"date":"2019-02-18T08:58:15","date_gmt":"2019-02-18T06:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=74537"},"modified":"2019-02-18T08:58:15","modified_gmt":"2019-02-18T06:58:15","slug":"anti-albino-killing-movie-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2019\/02\/18\/anti-albino-killing-movie-released\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-albino killing movie released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>By Faith Kamtambe: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The killing of people living with albinism in the country has forced one of the entertainment outfits in the country, Magic Promotions, to partner Restoration Films to release a film titled <em>The Roadblock<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The film seeks to fight the barbaric acts.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder of Magic Promotions, Chris Loka, said over the weekend that the situation has gone out of hand as little is being done by relevant authorities to stop the malpractice.<\/p>\n<p>He said, considering the circumstances, they thought of releasing a film so that people should be aware that killing people with albinism is inhumane.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;As an entertainment company, people living with albinism form part of our fans; they patronise our events and celebrate with us in several activities; so, we need their peace back,&#8221;<\/em> Loka said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Restoration Films Director, Alex Standy, said the movie, which features a person with albinism, has been produced in a way that people watching it should learn from it and also be aware that \u201cwe all have a right to live\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Smith Kanono, a person with albinism, is starring in the film.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Faith Kamtambe: The killing of people living with albinism in the country has forced one of the entertainment outfits in the country, Magic Promotions, to partner Restoration Films to release a film titled The Roadblock.
