South Africa-based musician and producer Chris Kele has said he is planning to hold more i live performances next year.<\/p>\n
Kele, who is now into jazz gospel, said yesterday he still has Movements <\/em>album to promote.<\/p>\n The 10-track album has songs such as \u2018Alpha and Omega\u2019 and \u2018Zamoyo Zinayi\u2019.<\/p>\n \u201cI am planning a jazz in gospel concert volume two in April next year when I will give people a treat with songs from Movement album. I am gathering more gospel acts who are into jazz and jazz fusion,\u201d Kele said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n He said the jazz in gospel concert volume two would be wider in the sense that he wants to get as many artists as possible to be part of the cast.<\/p>\n Having been in secular music for some time, Kele, who is also into recording music online, said he would like to use his talent to sing for the Lord.<\/p>\n \u201cWith jazz I sink into worship well and it makes my heartbeat get normal again and so I have come to realise that jazz in gospel treats me well,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n This year saw the artist engaged to fellow singer Joy Lethabo Bogoshi.<\/p>\n Kele used to concentrate on music production and theory of music studies.<\/p>\n \u201cStarting January next year, I will be stepping into more live performances and The Chris Kele Jazz trio will be getting into another gear. I am looking at performing at home since it\u2019s been some time,\u201d he said<\/em>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n Kele also hinted that he is working with a French promoter Pagar Glesard, who is preparing other international concerts for him.<\/p>\n \u201cNow I would like to take my music to other places such as Europe and the best way to hit that market is to hold concerts. This is costly but there are potential sponsors, so I am just waiting,\u201d he said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The proprietor of Blue Arts Studios said he has also opened doors for other local acts to work with him in making music for the growth of the industry.<\/p>\n \u201cI am also looking at working with a partner in the video production circle and next year we are also looking at venturing into artists\u2019 management too,\u201d Kele said.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" South Africa-based musician and producer Chris Kele has said he is planning to hold more i live performances next year.
