We should innovate so that available resources can benefit our learners,\u201d<\/em> Zimpita said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He said the ministry was ready to support ideas that would improve teaching and learning standards.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe cannot continue with the same methods of teaching and learning. The world is changing and we need to change for the better by introducing some innovations,\u201d<\/em> Zimpita said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>DMI University Vice Chancellor, Fr Sengol Jeyaseelan, said the conference is the right platform for brainstorming.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe have had a very wonderful discussion and some of the resolutions and ideas that have come out of this conference will be recommended to the government so that they can form part of policies guiding teaching and learning in universities and colleges,\u201d<\/em> Jeyaseelan said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Yohane Symon: The Ministry of Health has urged players in the tertiary education sector to utilise available resources to bring innovations that can increase productivity among students that graduate from the country\u2019s institutions.
