They talked about the forensic audit which they have asked officials at the commission to conduct. They also want Pac to take up the matter at its All Inclusive Stakeholders Conference.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSince elections involve the whole country and affect everyone, Pac has accepted to take up the matter and look into it during one of the committee\u2019s stakeholders meeting,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chilumpha, who is the Chairperson of the political parties\u2019 alliance, said they want Pac to initiate the process for the forensic audit.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe want Pac to help initiate the process for the conduct of a forensic audit of the electoral equipment that went missing during the voter registration exercise.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe want that this forensic audit is done independently, we also asked Pac that they should hold an all stakeholders inclusive meeting in preparation of the coming elections,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The opposition parties present at the meeting included UTM, Republican Party, Alliance for Democracy and Development, Mafunde, People\u2019s Progressive Movement and People\u2019s Party.<\/p>\n<p>Ansah is on record having said she has explained everything on the matter and sees no reason for her to resign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Serah Makondetsa: Some opposition political parties in the country Friday met with officials from the Public Affairs Committee (Pac) over the missing biometric registration kit.
