There are only three women out of the 20 ministers and this is not the first time that we have seen him doing so.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe have written the authority that appointed the President to be a He-For-She champion because we want the organisation to strip off that appointment because the President is not complying with the laws of gender equality in terms of appointing women,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There was no immediate comment from the UN Women office that champions the campaign in Malawi.<\/p>\n<p>State House Press Secretary, Mgeme Kalilani, Thursday insisted that Mutharika is committed to promoting women.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThere is no leader at presidential level who has appointed more women to high positions that Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika.
