People will see the best of me and will be entertained until they drop. In most cases, when we have a long list, the headliner only performs a few songs so I have changed my setup,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The event will also see him launching a CD and DVD for <em>Chichitika<\/em>. This is a 11-track album which was recorded at Groove Magic Studio by Joseph Tembo but finalised by Steve Meleka at M Studio in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>The album has songs such as \u2018Cover Me\u2019 and \u2018Achite Manyazi\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>His <em>Yahweh <\/em>album is also part of the launch and Phiri described it as a different collection that has songs different from Chichitika.<\/p>\n<p>The musician has also revealed that he has formed a group known as Spirit of Worshippers.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis is a choir which has different artists and we are actually looking at the way Joyous Celebration in South Africa works. The choir will be producing albums and it will also perform during the launch just to warm up the stage for me,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The musician told <em>The Daily Times <\/em>on Wednesday that he wants to win back the audience which has lost faith in gospel musicians.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis is a serious project and ,after the launch in Blantyre, we will go to Lilongwe then Mzuzu and other areas. For now, I just want to call upon people to come and be blessed to the fullest,\u201d<\/em> Phiri said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The musician debuted with <em>Amayankha Yesu, <\/em>which was a failure, in 2010 before making it right with <em>Mukumane ndi Moyo Wanga <\/em>which was impressive.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sam Banda Jnr: Gospel star King James Phiri takes to the stage on Sunday to launch two albums namely Chichitika and Yahweh at Robin\u2019s Park in Blantyre.
