{"id":70103,"date":"2018-10-08T10:06:15","date_gmt":"2018-10-08T08:06:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=70103"},"modified":"2018-10-08T10:06:15","modified_gmt":"2018-10-08T08:06:15","slug":"standard-bank-unveils-free-internet-services","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/10\/08\/standard-bank-unveils-free-internet-services\/","title":{"rendered":"Standard Bank unveils free internet services"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Francis Namondwe:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Malawi Stock Exchange- listed Standard Bank Malawi, in partnership with integrated mobile phone network and ICT services provider TNM, on Friday introduced free internet services to customers accessing digital banking services.<\/p>\n<p>Standard Bank Head of Personal Markets, Charity Mughogho, said free internet access gives customers unlimited power to access all the bank\u2019s digital platforms without a cost on data bundles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the free internet access, Standard Bank is re-writing the rule of access to mobile banking by offering free internet attached to digital transactions more accessible, flexible and cheaper to customers,\u201d Mughogho said.<\/p>\n<p>To access the service, Mughogho said customers are required to first access the bank\u2019s 247 online or use the 247 application.<\/p>\n<p>She said this would ease and drive usage of digital channels which provide convenience to customers.<\/p>\n<p>TNM Chief Enterprise Services Officer, Vishvajee Deshmukh, said the company was pleased to be part of the innovation that enables businesses to offer world-class solutions to customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat this means is that customers are able to enjoy free internet access when accessing Standard Bank internet banking services using TNM.
