I am very grateful. At the moment, we are waiting for the government,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mabedi said he has submitted his report through his doctor at Mwaiwathu.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThe donor of the kidney is available and all the passports are ready and so we are just waiting for communication from the government,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ministry of Health spokesperson, Joshua Malango, said recently that the government will help the veteran actor.<\/p>\n<p>Malango further said the government, through the ministry, was communicating with Mabedi and family and all those involved.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a fundraising show which Ntam held in Lilongwe last weekend, raised K122,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Sam Banda Jnr: Veteran actor and comedian Eric Mabedi, popularly known as Jakobo, said Thursday he is waiting for the government to undergo a kidney transplant in India.
