Kameza and Chitedze appeared before a disciplinary committee last week.<\/p>\n<p>Silver Chairperson, Ralph Tseka, Wednesday confirmed the development, saying they suspended the players indefinitely, paving the way for investigations.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAs you are aware, we set up a commission of inquiry and, during the investigations, it was established that the two players were implicated in misbehaviour. I will not tell you what they did to avoid jeopardising investigations,\u201d<\/em> Tseka said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Kameza Wednesday confirmed that he was being investigated alongside Chitedze.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWe are being accused of being behind the team\u2019s poor performance this season. They say we are leading the sabotage but we do not know what happened,\u201d<\/em> the former Evirom FC goalkeeper said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Chitedze said he was yet to be briefed on the matter.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI am just hearing reports from people because I am on holiday after I got engaged last Sunday,\u2019\u2019<\/em> Chitedze said Sources claim that the players were asking their colleagues not to work hard during matches.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Recently, the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.times.mw\/lovemore-fazili-francis-songo-suspended\/\"> club suspended<\/a> assistant Coach Lovemore Fazili and Team Manager Francis Songo due to the team\u2019s poor showing.<\/p>\n<p>But Fazili was recalled last week while Songo is under investigations.<\/p>\n<p>With eight league games to wind up the season, Silver\u2019s chances of winning the Super League title are slim.<\/p>\n<p>The Bankers are on third place on the log table with 44 points, eight points behind leaders Nyasa Big Bullets.<\/p>\n<p>Silver failed to defend the Airtel Top 8 trophy after losing to Blue Eagles.
