Bullets have 49 points from 21 games.

The 2015 champions fired from all cylinders on a hot afternoon and the contest was virtually over by the end of the first-half when the Lilongwe-based soldiers trailed 0-3.

It was a repeat of the five-star performance which the People’s Team displayed on Friday when they booted out Southern Region Football Association Premier Division side Changalume Barracks by the same margin.

The chief architect of Bullets’ three goals was winger McFarlen Mgwira. Apparently, the unsung hero is the most overlooked player at Bullets.

Veteran forward Chiukepo Msowoya put Bullets ahead in the fifth minute before Nelson Kangunje and Bright Munthali scored the second and third goals in the 34th and 36th minutes, respectively.

Bullets continued the rout in the second-half through Munthali (60th minute), Msowoya (79th minute) and substitute Mussa Manyenje (90th minute).

KB, who beat Nchalo United 2-0 on Saturday, were hoping to halt Bullets’ unbeaten run in the league but never came close to achieving that feat.

Bullets Coach, Rodgers Yasini, hailed his charges for executing his game-plan.

“It is not easy to win games during this time as all the teams are also chasing points.
