The seeds will be delivered upon completion of full payment,\u201d<\/em> Phiri said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He added that the loan facility enables employees to purchase seed on credit and is open to workers who will have to pay in four instalments after the seeds have been delivered.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cOur loan facilities, including the lay-buy facility, are interest-free and we don\u2019t require any collateral. With the loan facility, all we will require is an endorsement letter or guarantee from their employers.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe facility is open to all employed persons and self-employed people with the capacity to repay the loan within the specified period of four months,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Phiri said the minimum order is 10 kilogrammes per product. The seed will be collected from Global Seeds Offices or authorised agro-dealers for customers\u2019 convenience.<\/p>\n<p>According to Phiri, bulk orders will be delivered by Global Seeds for free to customers\u2019 premises.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cTo apply for the facilities, customers will have to fill a form which they can download on our website or collect them from our offices in Karson House in Lilongwe\u2019s Area 5\u201d,<\/em> Phiri said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Taonga Sabola: Seed maker, Global Seeds, on Friday introduced seed loan facilities for Malawian farmers and workers.
