This smacks of irresponsibility of the highest order on the part of Nam officials.

They must feel ashamed because elsewhere in the world the coach needs to be given autonomy to choose the team. What business had these women who have never played any serious netball with the line-up?

When you ask them about their netball background, they will lie about the street netball they played during their youth days and how they failed to progress with their netball career because of injuries.

They must be told in no uncertain terms that Malawians are fed up with their mediocrity and controversies.

They have successfully contributed to the downfall of Malawi netball. It is unfortunate that the press concentrates on writing football negativities when in fact netball is rotten to the core.

The nation needs a new broom to sweep this shameful body. It is a shame that it represents a serious netballing nation like Malawi.

After this World Netball tournament, Nam affiliates must call for an AGM to explain their expenditures, they must explain why they tampered with the coach’s line-up, they must explain why they have been violating Nam’s constitution by failing to call for AGM for years and why have Malawi Queens failed to break into the top four despite all the support they receive from government and the private sector.

They must also tell the nation their netball background and academic qualifications and be investigated on how they ascended to these positions.

When all is explained, let them be thrown out.
