{"id":67638,"date":"2018-06-28T08:44:39","date_gmt":"2018-06-28T06:44:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=67638"},"modified":"2018-06-28T08:44:39","modified_gmt":"2018-06-28T06:44:39","slug":"more-experience-for-patience-namadingo-in-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/06\/28\/more-experience-for-patience-namadingo-in-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"More experience for Patience Namadingo in Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BY SAM BANDA JNR:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After his experience in Hannover, Germany, where he, among others, performed at the Fete de la Musique Festival, musician Patience Namadingo flew to France on Sunday for another show.<\/p>\n<p>Patience, who also had time performing at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.times.mw\/makatumbe-stars-with-princess-chitsulo-patience-namadingo\/\">Pavillon Kulturzentrum with Makatumbe from Hannover<\/a>, was expected to hold a show at Montmatre Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am ready for the show and I am excited to be here in France. It\u2019s been a great experience performing in Europe and flying Malawi\u2019s flag,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Patience has had the first experience of his European shows which started off with Switzerland before moving on to Germany and then France.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cApart from the performances, I have learned a lot and again have had time to network with artists from other countries. I hope to have more of these tours,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In Switzerland and Germany, Patience, who has won the hearts of many people since he rebranded, performed with his VIP Band which also backed Princess Chitsulo.<\/p>\n<p>However, the VIP members \u2013 Chisomo Ngondo (keyboardist), Chikondi (drummer) and Ephraim Chambota (bassist) returned home on the same day Patience flew to France.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Msati Mseke\u2019 creator returns home this coming Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Chitsulo, who also shared the stage with Patience in Germany at the Fete de la Musique Festival and also two other shows, is back home on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the performances in Germany, Chitsulo has also had interactions with students at IGS School which is in partnership with Jacaranda School for Orphans in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Chitsulo and Patience also performed in Germany as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the twinning of Blantyre and Hannover cities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BY SAM BANDA JNR: After his experience in Hannover, Germany, where he, among others, performed at the Fete de la Musique Festival, musician Patience Namadingo flew to France on Sunday for another show.
