{"id":67435,"date":"2018-06-25T08:02:53","date_gmt":"2018-06-25T06:02:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=67435"},"modified":"2018-06-25T08:02:53","modified_gmt":"2018-06-25T06:02:53","slug":"rachael-nyirenda-dumakude-releases-debut-gospel-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/06\/25\/rachael-nyirenda-dumakude-releases-debut-gospel-album\/","title":{"rendered":"Rachael Nyirenda Dumakude releases debut gospel album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based Malawian songbird, Rachael Nyirenda, has finally released her debut gospel album, <em>Mbuye Wanga Munalinane<\/em>, carrying strong messages of hope and encouragement.<\/p>\n<p>Before she started singing for the Lord, Nyirenda released two secular albums.<\/p>\n<p>Nyirenda said people should expect more good music from her latest album, which is strewn with testimonies of how God saved her life when she suffered for over six months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a powerful album and carries very powerful testimonies about my life. Without God, I could have lost my life by now.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have taken my time to come up with this album and I am very sure that it will change many lives and my plea is that Malawians should take time and listen to my songs with an open ear,\u201d Nyirenda said.<\/p>\n<p>She added that she has come with a different style of gospel music, one that is set to change the industry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cActually, I have come to stay,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Recorded by Khatwa Aligiza at Alimoso Studios in Blantyre, some of the songs that make the album are \u2018Kulira Kwanga\u2019, \u2018Watondeka Satana\u2019, \u2018Mwayika Njira\u2019, \u2018Ndamasulidwa\u2019 and \u2018Dziko Latsopano\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>However, Nyirenda is not in a hurry to launch the album.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI plan to launch it later this year, if all goes well,\u201d Nyirenda said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Africa-based Malawian songbird, Rachael Nyirenda, has finally released her debut gospel album, Mbuye Wanga Munalinane, carrying strong messages of hope and encouragement.
