Be Forward Wanderers have received Ishmael Thindwa and Alfred Manyozo Jnr boost a head of Carlsberg Cup quarter-final showdown against Dedza Young Soccer Stars scheduled for Kamuzu Stadium on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Thindwa, who is on a six-month loan from Zimbabwe\u2019s Caps United, could debut for Nomads after waiting for over two months.<\/p>\n
The former Epac striker was ineligible to play for Nomads after completing his deal outside the transfer window, whereas experienced midfielder Manyozo returned to Wanderers after being released by Botswana club, Santos FC.<\/p>\n
In an interview on Wednesday, Wanderers general secretary, Mike Butao, said the duo would be available for selection on Saturday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey are both fit and they are working hard in training, but it will depend on the coaches\u2019 decision. If the coaches think the players are ready to play they might be featured,\u201d Butao said.<\/p>\n
In a separate interview, Thindwa, who struggled to hit top form in Zimbabwe, said: \u201cIf the coaches give me a chance to play, I will try to give my best to help the team.\u201d<\/p>\n
Before joining Caps, Thindwa finished as the TNM Super League top goal scorer twice in three seasons, but scored just twice in two seasons at Caps.<\/p>\n
Wanderers struggled to score towards the end of the Super League first round following the departure of Mohamad Sulumba and Jimmy Zakazaka to clubs in South Africa and Botswana respectively.<\/p>\n
