Mpinganjira stood motionless, hands akimbo, after his first assignment ended in defeat.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is too early to count us out of the race. We tried everything to win the match but we simply failed. We will do our homework and I am confident that we will bounce back strongly. As defending champions, we are still in contention. We just need to be calm and work together to achieve good results,\u201d said the Nomads legend who, during his heydays, was nicknamed Savior because of his ability to chalk in goals.<\/p>\n
Mpinganjira has taken over the post from Yasin Osman, who has been promoted to Technical Director whereas Albert Mpinganjira will be deputising his senior brother.<\/p>\n
Royal Bokosi struck a 26th-minute volley for Lions to leave Wanderers on position 12 with eight points from six games, whereas rivals Nyasa Big Bullets lead the standings with 21 points from nine games.<\/p>\n
