Of course, Manda has got the right papers required for the job but we are looking for somebody who can come in and turn things around. Meanwhile, we will be asking Kinnah Phiri to continue assisting us as he used to do in the past.

“As a technical advisor, Phiri used to come and help us with technical elements of the game and that is what we want from him. But we would like to have a full time coach in place and that should happen as soon as possible,” Harawa said.

Kadenge confirmed that he was contacted for a possible move to take over as the club’s head coach.

Ngwira’s suspension comes just days after another Super League side, Mafco FC, fired coach Mike Kumanga, after the team’s quarterfinal exit from the Airtel Top 8 Cup and a poor start to the Super League campaign.

Masters Security had also fired their coach, Abas Makawa, but reinstated him after the team continued to lose matches.

Charles Manda’s job at Nchalo United also seems to be unstable as there have been reports of his sacking which the club keeps denying.

TNM Super League outfit Mzuni FC are talking to several coaches to help the team improve its performance in the TNM Super League.
