{"id":6560,"date":"2015-07-27T09:18:43","date_gmt":"2015-07-27T09:18:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=6560"},"modified":"2015-07-27T09:18:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-27T09:18:43","slug":"msb-in-grand-draw-of-icash-promotion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2015\/07\/27\/msb-in-grand-draw-of-icash-promotion\/","title":{"rendered":"MSB in grand draw of iCash promotion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Savings Bank (MSB) last Friday held a final draw of its iCash promotion which saw Thyolo-based Regina Maliro walking away with a plasma television screen as the grand prize.<\/p>\n<p>Two other lucky winners, Lucy Nyirenda and Kakowa Chindevu, also went home with a Samsung tablet and a Samsung galaxy phone respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The promotion, which was aimed at increasing the visibility of the bank\u2019s recently introduced iCash card and services on ATM, run for four months.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the end of the promotion, MSB\u2019s business development and marketing manager, Brenda Chilima, described it as a \u201csuccess\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She said the promotion received more than 500,000 entries despite uncertainties emanating from the bank\u2019s recapitalisation which coincided with the promotion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite the uncertainties, our customers maintained the trust in us,\u201d said Chilima.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, MSB is still running a Mponda Makwacha promotion with a grand prize money of K4 million up for grabs by September 30, 2015.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Savings Bank (MSB) last Friday held a final draw of its iCash promotion which saw Thyolo-based Regina Maliro walking away with a plasma television screen as the grand prize.
