{"id":65356,"date":"2018-05-17T10:58:10","date_gmt":"2018-05-17T08:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=65356"},"modified":"2018-05-17T10:58:11","modified_gmt":"2018-05-17T08:58:11","slug":"lafarge-cement-in-health-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/05\/17\/lafarge-cement-in-health-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Lafarge Cement in health campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the country\u2019s cement producers, Lafarge Malawi, on Tuesday launched a health campaign which seeks to sensitise employees and business partners on how to live a healthy life.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the campaign took place at the firm\u2019s head office in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>Lafarge Malawi Chief Executive Officer, Albert Sigei, said the firm has a policy of ensuring that employees live a healthy life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe workforce that is healthy will contribute to the social and business development of the company and family as a whole,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Sigei also said the campaign is part of Lafarge\u2019s Ambition Zero strategy aimed at eliminating cases of accidents by 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe company also plans to engage stakeholders such as customers, suppliers as well as its surrounding communities during the campaign,\u201d Sigei said.<\/p>\n<p>During the campaign, employees, customers and business partners from the construction industry will be equipped with health tips which will help them live a healthy life.<\/p>\n<p>The launch of the campaign was characterised by presentations and speeches from local as well as international health experts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the country\u2019s cement producers, Lafarge Malawi, on Tuesday launched a health campaign which seeks to sensitise employees and business partners on how to live a healthy life.
