{"id":65027,"date":"2018-05-08T07:37:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-08T05:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=65027"},"modified":"2018-05-08T07:37:21","modified_gmt":"2018-05-08T05:37:21","slug":"wilson-masamba-wins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/05\/08\/wilson-masamba-wins\/","title":{"rendered":"Wilson Masamba wins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi Defence Force (MDF) boxer, Wilson Masamba, knocked out his South Africa-based malawian opponent Sandro Jackson in round three of a lightweight non-title bout at M1 Centre Point in Lilongwe on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson was too quick in the first-round, unleashing a flurry of punches but Masamba used his usual hit-and-duck antics.<\/p>\n<p>Sensing danger, Masamba upped his game in the second-round, unleashing a powerful punch which sent Jackson to the canvas.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson fell like a log and needed first aid attention. It was the end of the contest.<\/p>\n<p>After the bout, Masamba said: \u201cHe is too young for me and is not at my level.
