But the last time he performed in the country was long time ago.<\/p>\n<p>Dube closed the concert on the night with Mussa warming up the stage.<\/p>\n<p>He said his trip to Malawi was a success.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am happy with the support I have received. The atmosphere during the show was electrifying and this has been a benchmark that we can use for greater things in Malawi,\u201d the musician said.<\/p>\n<p>Dube said he was given all the love on the night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was thrilled and shocked that people know my songs even those in Zulu,\u201d Dube said.<\/p>\n<p>The musician, who is a well-travelled preacher and has shared the stage with, among other artists, Kirk Franklin performed for close to three hours and bowed out at midnight with the audience satisfied.<\/p>\n<p>Mussa, who announced last week that he would launch his <em>Mdidi <\/em>album in September, offered the best of his music.<\/p>\n<p>His performance at BICC also came barely a week after he impressed with his Unplugged show at Jacaranda Cultural Centre in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am happy with the support I have got tonight. Again I am also happy to share the stage with Benjamin Dube, who is a top artist,\u201d Mussa said.<\/p>\n<p>He also said he enjoyed the night to the fullest because on the same night he also won three awards at the 2018 Nyasa Music Awards held at Comesa Hall in Blantyre.<\/p>\n<p>The show was organised by National Friends of Church of Central African Presbyterian Students Organisation (FOCCAPSO).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South African gospel musician Benjamin Dube and Faith Mussa on Friday put up thrilling performances that excited the audience during a worship concert at Bingu International Conventional Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
