Champions Be Forward Wanderers have promised to make hay while the sun shines when they date Masters Security FC in a TNM Super League match at Balaka Stadium this afternoon.<\/p>\n
Wanderers have made a promising start to the season, having come from behind to stun Silver Strikers 2-1 at Silver Stadium in the league\u2019s official opening match.<\/p>\n
The Nomads Coach, Yasin Osman, said they will not get carried away with their win.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe need to make hay while the sun shines. We know that every game will be difficult but we will take each game at a time. Our mission is clear\u2014to defend the championship,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Hitman Peter Wadabwa has started the season positively after scoring a brace to inspire Wanderers\u2019 comeback last week.<\/p>\n
The likes of veterans Esau Kanyenda and Joseph Kamwendo were also inspiring during the opening game.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Masters Coach, Abbas Makawa, believes the team is capable of pulling a surprise despite statistics suggesting otherwise.<\/p>\n
Wanderers defeated Masters 4-0 in a warm up match for both teams\u2019 pathetic campaign in Caf competitions.<\/p>\n
The Nomads humbled Masters 4-1 during their last league meeting in December when Wanderers reached the Promised Land by ending their 11-year drought for the title.<\/p>\n
Last week, Makawa\u2019s charges forced Civil Sporting Club to a one-all draw, a result Makawa attributed to fatigue as his players trained for a day before the game.<\/p>\n
\u201cWanderers are favourites but we will go into the game to fight for our names and after 90 minutes, we want to come out with a satisfying result,\u201d Makawa said.<\/p>\n
Francis Nkonda is expected to be Masters’ main man in the Civil match.<\/p>\n
