{"id":63477,"date":"2018-04-05T09:53:33","date_gmt":"2018-04-05T07:53:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=63477"},"modified":"2018-04-05T09:53:33","modified_gmt":"2018-04-05T07:53:33","slug":"sporting-club-cant-wait-for-2018-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/04\/05\/sporting-club-cant-wait-for-2018-season\/","title":{"rendered":"Sporting Club can\u2019t wait for 2018 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Civil Sporting Club Coach, Franco Ndawa, believes his side is ready for the 2018 TNM Super League campaign, which is scheduled to start on April 14.<\/p>\n<p>The civil servants\u2019 pre-season preparations reached their climax last Sunday with an exciting clash against Be Forward Wanderers at Answer Private Academy Ground in Dowa District.<\/p>\n<p>The game ended goal-less.<\/p>\n<p>Ndawa used the encounter to assess new players, including goalkeeper Hastings Banda who was outstanding.<\/p>\n<p>Ndawa hinted that he will not sign any more players.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInasmuch as you want to win pre-season friendlies, it is not the ultimate objective.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe saw what we wanted. We wanted to see if the team could still perform after taking out Joseph Kachule and put in Patrick Thupi. We are happy with what we have.
