{"id":63167,"date":"2018-03-30T11:16:46","date_gmt":"2018-03-30T09:16:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=63167"},"modified":"2018-03-30T11:16:47","modified_gmt":"2018-03-30T09:16:47","slug":"two-nomads-players-injured","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/03\/30\/two-nomads-players-injured\/","title":{"rendered":"Two Nomads\u2019 players injured"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TNM Super League champions, Be Forward Wanderers, have been hit by injuries to goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa and left-winger Mike Kaziputa ahead of the 2018 season.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomads wrap up their pre-season preparations by facing Masters Security FC and Civil Sporting Club at Answer Private Academy Ground in Dowa District this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>Wanderers Team Manager, Steve Madeira, said Chipuwa and Kaziputa will miss the trip to Dowa due to the injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Chipuwa pulled muscles when he was with the national team last week while Kaziputa injured his shoulder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalking about the status of the players in camp, all is well only that we will miss Chipuwa and Kaziputa this week,\u201d Madeira said.<\/p>\n<p>Civil Team Manager, Gabriel Chirwa, said they were looking forward to finalising their preparations for the new season.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have recruited young players from lower league teams, so we are drilling them to adapt to our system of play,\u201d Chirwa said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Nyasa Big Bullets date Azam Tigers at Mulanje Park Stadium in a friendly on Sunday<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TNM Super League champions, Be Forward Wanderers, have been hit by injuries to goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa and left-winger Mike Kaziputa ahead of the 2018 season.
