Definitely, the athletes will win medals at the end of the tournament,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Over 200 athletes from 14 countries are taking part in the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Some 32 swimmers are representing Malawi during the competition, which winds up Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The local representatives were selected during Malawi Open Championship held at the same venue a fortnight ago.<\/p>\n<p>Malawi squad includes Ammara Pinto, Mwandeyi Kumwenda, Filipe Gomez and Tayamika Chang\u2019anamuno.<\/p>\n<p>The best athletes will qualify for Fina World Championship scheduled for China in December. Fina is the world governing body for swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Malawi also hosted the tournament in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Africa Swimming Confederation Zone IV Chairperson, Jace Naidoo, has since hailed Malawi for hosting the competition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are quite excited with facilities and everything is top class.
