{"id":62539,"date":"2018-03-20T05:36:48","date_gmt":"2018-03-20T03:36:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=62539"},"modified":"2018-03-20T05:36:48","modified_gmt":"2018-03-20T03:36:48","slug":"gregory-mulema-has-gospel-album","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/03\/20\/gregory-mulema-has-gospel-album\/","title":{"rendered":"Gregory Mulema has gospel album"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Musician Gregory Mulema, who came to the limelight with songs such as \u2018Muzisanzika\u2019 and \u2018Mwina ndi Cellular\u2019, has resurfaced with a gospel album titled <em>Holy Ghost<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The musician, who is based in South Africa, said Monday that the album will be launched on March 26 in Pretoria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe album is already out and is available in South Africa. It came out on March 1. But I am working on having it in Malawi. I actually have produced the CD and DVD,\u201d Mulema said.<\/p>\n<p>The 10-track album was recorded in South Africa and Nigeria by BFB and DJ Meg and Nimix, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>He said he moved out of secular music and is into gospel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChristianity is a lifestyle and, so, I chose to be a minister of the gospel after I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal savior,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Mulema said he would be holding shows in different places.<\/p>\n<p>He said it has been a learning process for him starring in secular, adding that he wants to sing for the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>Mulema described the songs in the album as mature and that he has taken his time and listened to God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Musician Gregory Mulema, who came to the limelight with songs such as \u2018Muzisanzika\u2019 and \u2018Mwina ndi Cellular\u2019, has resurfaced with a gospel album titled Holy Ghost.
