M<\/strong>alawi women\u2019s national football team star striker, Tabitha Chawinga, has spoken on her next challenge in her career after signing for Chinese Women\u2019s Football League giants, Jiangsu Suning.<\/p>\n

Chawinga signed for Suning from Swedish side, Kvarnsvedens IK, last season.<\/p>\n

She is bracing for the challenges of culture in China.<\/p>\n

Last season the 21-year-old former Lilongwe\u2019s DD Sunshine player top-scored in Sweden with 25 goals. Now, she is ready to transfer her form to China.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt has been a great experience as I have met new friends,\u201d the 21-year-old told www.shekicks. net. <\/em>\u201cIt is a new culture but it is all fun and I like it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t wait to learn a few lines of Chinese. My family was excited that I was moving to China and they are supporting me. At first I was at a hotel, but I have a house now, living alone.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Friday, Chawinga was voted Best Female Athlete during Malawi Sports Awards held in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n

Last year, Chawinga became the first Malawian to be nominated for the Confederation of African Football Player of the Year Award.<\/p>\n
