Be Forward Wanderers Coach, Yasin Osman, who is ill, has reportedly been given a four-week bed rest.<\/p>\n
This means that Osman will miss the first week of training when the Nomads regroup on March 6.<\/p>\n
Due to the illness, Osman missed Wanderers\u2019 home game against AS Vita of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Wednesday in the Caf Champions League.<\/p>\n
Wanderers lost 1-2 in the second-leg match of the preliminary round to exit the continental competition 6-1 on aggregate, after losing 4-0 in the first-leg in Kinshasa.<\/p>\n
The club\u2019s Chairperson, Gift Mkandawire, said Osman was discharged hours before the game against Vita.<\/p>\n
\u201cI was in touch with him on Thursday and he said he was feeling well but after consulting his family and relatives, they recommended that our coach should not do anything to do with the crowd and anything that can cause him to worry.<\/p>\n
\u201cActually on Tuesday, he phoned me to say that he would be eager to be on the technical bench but we didn\u2019t want to give him pressure because we knew that progressing to the next round of the competition was a tall order. I can assure the Nomads\u2019 family that our coach will be available next season,\u201d Mkandawire said.<\/p>\n
