Senior students will also compete in both categories.<\/p>\n<p>Promising players from the Southern Region are set to showcase their skills, whereas 11-year-old wonder-kid, Yebo Sanga, will test his mettle in the seniors\u2019 category.<\/p>\n<p>Prizes at stake include classic chess sets, recording books and medals.<\/p>\n<p>The sponsors, Susan Namangale and Stanley Kenani, were once active chess players.<\/p>\n<p>Kenani said he supports chess because it makes players great thinkers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over 100 players have registered to compete in S and S Geniuses Schools Chess Tournament set for St Andrews International High School in Blantyre Saturday.
