{"id":59992,"date":"2018-02-01T06:59:09","date_gmt":"2018-02-01T04:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=59992"},"modified":"2018-02-01T06:59:10","modified_gmt":"2018-02-01T04:59:10","slug":"6-eagles-fly-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2018\/02\/01\/6-eagles-fly-away\/","title":{"rendered":"6 Eagles fly away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Eagles have released six players, including fading stars Luka Milanzi and Tizgobere Kumwenda, ahead of the 2018 TNM Super League season.<\/p>\n<p>Eagles General Secretary, Ulemu Kalua, yesterday said other players who have been released are goalkeeper Carlington Misomali, defender Gio Banda, midfielders Blessings Phiri and Davie Ng\u2019ambi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor the players that have been released, we wish them all the best.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnly Misomali, Phiri and Banda have running contracts with us and they will be loaned out to teams of their choice,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kalua said Eagles will replace the six players with raw talent from rural areas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently, our Head Coach, Derklerk Msakakuona, is on the ground trying new players.
