Nyasa Big Bullets are yet to decide on the transfer fee for defender, Emmanuel Zoya, who has reportedly passed trials at Zambian Super League side, Red Arrows.<\/p>\n
The defender, who can play either as left-back or centre-back, underwent three-week trials in Zambia.<\/p>\n
Zoya is discussing personal terms, including signing-on fees and duration of the contract, with Arrows.<\/p>\n
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya, said they were yet to come up with Zoya\u2019s transfer free because they wanted the player to, first, agree personal terms with Arrows.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to charge the fee when we are certain that Emmanuel is happy to join the team. We don\u2019t want to stand in his way,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Haiya said Bullets will not come up with a prohibitive transfer fee because they believe in creating opportunities for players.<\/p>\n
\u201cRecently, we sold Muhammad Sulumba to South Africa. The fee was negotiable and we felt it was a good deal for all parties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Zoya said he was happy to pass the trials and promised to win a starting place in Arrows\u2019 squad.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe trials were not easy. About 20 foreign players attended [the trials] and I had to battle tooth and nail to be part of the team. The good thing is that I can fight my way [to earn a move] to Europe from here (Zambia),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
