Nyasa Big Bullets\u2019 versatile defender, Emmanuel Zoya, should know by Friday if he has passed trials at Zambia\u2019s Super Division side Red Arrows.<\/p>\n
In an interview from Lusaka, the former Civil Sporting Club captain said he hopes to make it despite facing stiff competition from other foreigners.<\/p>\n
Zoya said he was confident in himself as he has been featuring in the club\u2019s pre-season matches.<\/p>\n
\u201cAll is well here. I am winding up my trials on Friday [tomorrow]. The club\u2019s officials are saying, this being a military club, it is the first time they want to recruit foreign players.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have been undergoing trials alongside players from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Tanzania, but I cannot complain much. I am just waiting for the outcome of the trials,\u201d Zoya said.<\/p>\n
Zoya scored six goals for Bullets in the just-ended season.<\/p>\n
If he passes the trials, Zoya would join in Zambia former team-mate Dalitso Sailesi, who plays for Lusaka Dynamos.<\/p>\n
Bullets Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya, said he would not comment on Zoya\u2019s trials.<\/p>\n
