Nyasa Big Bullets are expected to cut short their off-season break so as to accommodate friendly matches against Malawi\u2019s ambassadors in Caf Champions League, Be Forward Wanderers, and Caf Confederations Cup, Masters Security.<\/p>\n
Bullets were expected to regroup mid-February ahead of the new season but the People\u2019s Team might assemble before the end of the month.<\/p>\n
The team\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, Fleetwood Haiya, said Wanderers and Masters have approached Bullets to consider playing friendlies.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe feel that the two teams have assignments of national interests and we would be delighted to help them. They will be representing the country and it is only right and fair to assist them so that the nation in particular should win. So, we are meeting tomorrow [last] evening to set a date when we should commence our preparations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Wanderers General Secretary, Mike Butao, said they were planning three more friendly games before they travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) to face AS Vita in the first-leg of the preliminary round.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis week, we will face Mangochi because we already made a commitment long time ago. If everything goes well, we might play Bullets next week before travelling to Zambia for another friendly match en-route to DRC,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Butao said they were still discussing with Lusaka Dynamos and other teams in Zambia before making a final decision.<\/p>\n
