A number of activities have been lined up to achieve the goal.<br \/>\nOne of activities was the fundraising dinner and dance and, according to Ndanga, things are on track.<br \/>\n\u201cWe set a target of K30 million six months ago, we want to have an office structure because since the establishment of Misa Malawi 20 years ago, we have been renting office space. Now that we have partners coming, by 2018 we should have achieved this goal,\u201d she said.<br \/>\nDirector of Information in the Ministry of Information, Gideon Munthali, said the route that Misa Malawi has taken looks promising.<br \/>\n\u201cThe government is pleased to associate with Misa because if we want to develop as a country, we need to instill a spirit of self-reliance,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nFounder of Rich Mines, Otis Bushiri, who made a donation of K2 million to Misa-Malawi said financial independence is important.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Media Institute of Southern Africa (Misa)- Malawi Chapter has said it is optimistic that it will acquire an office building this year.
