{"id":57351,"date":"2017-12-08T07:45:05","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T05:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=57351"},"modified":"2017-12-08T07:45:06","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T05:45:06","slug":"ngalandes-goal-earns-nomination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/12\/08\/ngalandes-goal-earns-nomination\/","title":{"rendered":"Ngalande\u2019s goal earns nomination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Malawi national football team forward Robin Ngalande\u2019s recent wonder strike for his South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, Baroka FC, has been nominated for November\u2019s Goal of the Month Award.<br \/>\nIn a statement, PSL said Ngalande\u2019s goal in a 2-2 draw against Robert Ng\u2019ambi\u2019s Platinum Stars would compete for the award alongside that of his team-mate, Mpho Kagaswane, who scored in another game.<br \/>\nOther goals earmarked for the award are Hlompho Kekana\u2019s wonder strike in a 3-1 win over Orlando Pirates.<br \/>\nKekana\u2019s teammate, Anthony Laffor, was also nominated for his stunning goal in the same game against Pirates whereas Chippa United playmaker, Samuel Julies, has also earned nomination for his brace in a 2-0 win over Bidvest Wits.<br \/>\nOther goals that have been nominated are for Pirates\u2019 Marc van Heerden, AmaZulu\u2019s Rhulani Manzini, Golden Arrows duo Jabulani Shongwe and Siphelele Magubane.<br \/>\nThe winning goal will be determined by fans who will vote through PSL\u2019s website www.psl.co.za<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Malawi national football team forward Robin Ngalande\u2019s recent wonder strike for his South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) club, Baroka FC, has been nominated for November\u2019s Goal of the Month Award.
