{"id":57090,"date":"2017-12-04T09:18:46","date_gmt":"2017-12-04T07:18:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=57090"},"modified":"2017-12-04T09:18:46","modified_gmt":"2017-12-04T07:18:46","slug":"gaba-in-dream-return","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/12\/04\/gaba-in-dream-return\/","title":{"rendered":"Gaba in dream return"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After serving a six-game ban, Flames forward, Gabadinho Mhango, made a dream return to Bidvest Wits as the Clever Boys defeated Bloemfontein Celtic 1-0 to lift South Africa\u2019s Telkom Knockout trophy on Saturday night.<br \/>\nGaba was deservedly named man-of-the-match following his superb displays during the game.<br \/>\nIt was an emotional return for the former Big Bullets forward who only completed his ban for spitting at Amazulu\u2019s Michael Morton in September a week ago.<br \/>\nIn an interview with Supersport.com after the game, Gaba said it felt great to return to the pitch after enduring a period of inactivity.<br \/>\nHe expressed hope that the cup success would help his team put its Absa Premier Soccer League title campaign back on track.<br \/>\n\u201cFirst of all, I want to thank God and my teammates. I was suspended for six games and for me to come back and be voted Man of the Match, it is no mean achievement. I couldn\u2019t have done it without the help of my teammates.<br \/>\n\u201cAs players, we enjoy winning trophies. Hopefully, this cup will give us the  confidence to put our league title fight back on track.
