{"id":56555,"date":"2017-11-22T10:46:48","date_gmt":"2017-11-22T08:46:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=56555"},"modified":"2017-11-22T10:46:48","modified_gmt":"2017-11-22T08:46:48","slug":"wilson-masambas-off-to-tanzania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/11\/22\/wilson-masambas-off-to-tanzania\/","title":{"rendered":"Wilson Masambas off to Tanzania"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Delisha Holdings on Monday presented air tickets to boxer Wilson Masamba and his trainer-brother, John, for their trip to Tanzania ahead of a non-title bout against Shomali Milundi scheduled for Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Wilson and Milundi will square up in a main supporting bout.<\/p>\n<p>After presenting the tickets in Lilongwe, Delisha Holdings (Global Partners Group), Chief Executive Officer, John Milanzi, said Wilson was carrying Malawi\u2019s flag, hence their support.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is a good boxer and we believe that he will perform according to our expectations in Tanzania. We are committed to supporting boxers in the country,\u201d Milanzi said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me appeal to the private sector to support boxers so that they should realise their dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heading into the bout, Masamba is confident in his performance, having defeated Zimbabwean, Lawrence Moyo, in Harare recently.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a morale booster for me. I want to assure Malawians that I will work hard.
