The country\u2019s UK-based comedian, Daliso Chaponda, arrives Wednesday ahead of his two performances in Blantyre and Lilongwe this coming weekend.<\/p>\n
Qoncept Creatives\u2019 Creat ive Director, Q Malewezi, confirmed Monday of the development.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes Daliso jets in on Wednesday [tomorrow]. He is excited and ready for the two shows and has promised to give out loads of jokes,\u201dMalewezi said.<\/p>\n
Daliso will perform at Victoria Gardens in Blantyre on Friday before dating Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe the following day.<\/p>\n
The shows are dubbed The President of Laughrica.<\/p>\n
Malewezi said they were ready for the two shows and he indicated that they would be restocking all ticket outlets between yesterday and today.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe response has been overwhelming and we are happy with the way people are buying the tickets,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The two shows will be hosted by Carl Joshua Ncube and the performances will be spiced by Prince Chikweba and Patience Namadingo.<\/p>\n
Namadingo said recently that he strictly play comedian during these two outings.<\/p>\n
Daliso, who came third in this year\u2019s Britain\u2019s Got Talent, said recently in a video that he was ready for the two shows.<\/p>\n
\u201cHello Malawians, I am getting ready to come back to Malawi to do some shows, I have been packing, I got a Bible ready, I have got some holy word in case of vampires,\u201d Daliso said.<\/p>\n
This is not the first time for Daliso to perform in the country.<\/p>\n
The comedian recently also came out to announce his first tour.<\/p>\n
The comedian said he was going full throttle with the tour titled What The African Said.<\/p>\n
Daliso, has also been signed by CKP Productions and Roar-Global.<\/p>\n
