TNM Super League out-going champions, Kamuzu Barracks (KB), have a slight advantage going into today\u2019s Fisd Challenge Cup semi-final against unpredictable Masters Security at Civo Stadium in Lilongwe.<\/p>\n
But such is the beauty of cup games because they always swing on the pendulum of the unthinkable, so Masters can fancy their chances of sneaking through to their first-ever national cup final.<\/p>\n
Last season, KB lost to eventual winners, Be Forward Wanderers, in the final of the cup, hence the soldiers\u2019 Coach, Billy Phambala must be looking forward to going a step further, and save a season that might end empty-handed.<\/p>\n
KB are out of the running for Super League championship defence, hence their only hope for silverware lies in the cup.<\/p>\n

On the other end, Masters have a shrewd tactician in Abbas Makawa, whose record when meeting against giants is, from his days at Epac, faultless.<\/p>\n
Masters, who saw off Red Lions and Mafco in the preliminary rounds of the cup, also have some depth and experience with the likes of Vincent Nyangulu, Patience Kalumo and Wyson Nkhana handy on their day.<\/p>\n
The winner of today\u2019s last-four battle date either Moyale Barracks or Nyasa Big Bullets who meet at the same Lilongwe venue tomorrow.<\/p>\n
