One thing I know is that administrators come and go. If the decision was made in the interest of the sport, then I have no qualms. I will still be coaching at my side [Eagles], and when national duties call, I will always be available,\u201dhe said.<\/p>\n<p>Kanyenda courted controversy when he openly criticised Netball Association of Malawi (Nam) administration for expelling shooter, Mwawi Kumwenda, from the Queens\u2019 camp without his consent.<\/p>\n<p>Mwawi was axed after she reported late for camp ahead of the disastrous Fast5 Netball World Series tour of Australia.<\/p>\n<p>Kanyenda left the Queens\u2019 camp after Nam had rejected his wish to recall Mwawi.<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles\u2019 mentor is no stranger to controversy as he also refused to deputise Mary Waya in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, Nam promoted Waya from assistant Coach to Head Coach with Whyte Mulilima as her deputy.<\/p>\n<p>In a twist of events, Nam has recalled Mwawi to the Queens\u2019 camp ahead of the trip to England.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Blue Eagles Sisters Coach, Sam Kanyenda, has played down his exclusion from the Malawi national netball team duties. \u201cI have been in netball since 1983.
