Nyasa Big Bullets are playing Blue Eagles this afternoon in the second quarter-final of the Fisd Challenge Cup, fully aware of the policemen\u2019s intentions of avenging their 3-0 defeat when the two teams met two weeks ago in Blantyre.
\nThe Chilomoni Stadium encounter may not have any bearing on today\u2019s match at Lilongwe\u2019s Civo Stadium as it was a TNM Super League but with a semi-final slot of the cup at stake, there will be a lot to fight for.
\nStrikers Chiukepo Msowoya for Bullets and Eagles\u2019 Mphatso Phillemon are likely to be the main men whose performance will determine the two sides\u2019 fate in the competition.
\nThe two are regular goalscorers whose presence in a match is loathed by defenders and goalkeepers alike.
\nTeam Manager for the People\u2019s Team, James Chilapondwa, said his team will not be carried away by what happened when the two teams last met.
\n\u201cWe had the upper hand last time we played them. But this is a cup match and the dynamics will be different. We need to be very careful as anything can happen,\u201d Chilapondwa said.
\nHe said the team does not have any injury concerns.
\nBlue Eagles\u2019 General Secretary, Ulemu Kalua, said his team camped outside Lilongwe to finalise its preparations for the match.
\n\u201cWe have a full squad without any injuries and suspensions. We have beaten Bullets before and we can do it again,\u201d Kalua said.
