{"id":54604,"date":"2017-10-05T09:30:26","date_gmt":"2017-10-05T07:30:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=54604"},"modified":"2017-10-05T09:30:26","modified_gmt":"2017-10-05T07:30:26","slug":"government-clueless-on-blood-suckers-31-arrested","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/10\/05\/government-clueless-on-blood-suckers-31-arrested\/","title":{"rendered":"Government clueless on blood suckers, 31 arrested"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>G<\/strong>overnment is yet to get to the root of the blood-sucking rumours that have stirred up communities in Phalombe, Chiradzulu, Mulanje and Nsanje<\/p>\n<p>Minister of Information and Communications Technology Nicholas Dausi, at a media briefing Wednesday in Lilongwe, described the development as a myth and not easy to fight against.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe issue of blood sucking is mythical, superstitious and mere allegations that have resulted in the loss of innocent lives,\u201d Dausi said.<\/p>\n<p>As government, he said, what we have done is to make sure that we are in each locality where people are saying there are blood suckers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will get to the core of it.
