{"id":54196,"date":"2017-09-27T10:07:59","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T08:07:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=54196"},"modified":"2017-09-27T10:10:33","modified_gmt":"2017-09-27T08:10:33","slug":"professionals-on-tanzania-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/09\/27\/professionals-on-tanzania-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Professionals on Tanzania trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>F<\/strong>ootball Association of Malawi (Fam) General Secretary, Alfred Gunda, has said foreign-based players are expected to join Malawi National Football Team camp on Monday ahead of the trip to Tanzania for a friendly match.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the technical panel\u2019s recommendation, we have released names of foreign-based players who will be part of the trip to Tanzania,\u201d Gunda said.<\/p>\n<p>The Flames date the Taifa Stars on October 7 to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) Group B qualifiers against Morocco, Cameroon and Comoros next March.<\/p>\n<p>Malawi started the qualifiers with a 1-0 home win over Comoros in June whereas Cameroon defeated Morocco 2-1.
