{"id":53459,"date":"2017-09-14T08:20:22","date_gmt":"2017-09-14T06:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=53459"},"modified":"2017-09-14T08:20:23","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T06:20:23","slug":"bebe-cool-tay-grin-in-collaboration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/09\/14\/bebe-cool-tay-grin-in-collaboration\/","title":{"rendered":"Bebe Cool, Tay Grin in collaboration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>T<\/strong>ay Grin, who has made strides in his music including featuring several international acts in his songs, has collaborated with Ugandan top artist Bebe Cool.<\/p>\n<p>Bebe Cool, real name Moses Sali, is a top African reggae and ragge musician.<\/p>\n<p>He was one of the first artists to be affiliated with Ogopa DJs, a production house and record label in Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>The artist has performed at the Big Brother Africa twice.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, Bebe Cool\u2019s \u2018Born In Africa\u2019 remix song was voted among Africa\u2019s greatest songs of all time. The song came at number 15 in 50 anthems for the African continent.<\/p>\n<p>In recent times, Tay Grin has collaborated with artists such as Tanzania\u2019s Vanessa Mdee in the song \u2018Tola\u2019 which has earned him a nomination for Best Male Artist in Southern Africa in the All Africa Music Awards.<\/p>\n<p>He has also worked with Nigeria\u2019s 2 Baba in the song \u2018Chipapapa\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Ugandan artist Bebe Cool confirmed the development on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks for all your prayers, evil [is] defeated and I am out this evening. To greater news I will be heading to Gulu town and will be joined by a special friend, Malawian top artist Tay Grin, who arrives tonight (Monday).<\/p>\n<p>He further said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMe and Tay Grin joined up in a collabo last year produced by Andre and we feel now is the time for Africa to feel it. \u2018One More Touch\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>On the choice of Gulu, Bebe Cool said it was time to show Ugandans and the rest of the world that Uganda was a beautiful country with attractive sceneries worth a visit.<\/p>\n<p>Tay Grin, who will also have a show thereafter, said he met Bebe Cool at Trace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe met at a Trace interview last year. We got introduced and expressed how we were both keen to work on something together and that as African stars it was time to be united and work together to push our music far,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Chipapapa\u2019 star added:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are like-minded artists and both very hard working, so it\u2019s been a pleasure working, on this single.
