{"id":52918,"date":"2017-09-04T08:29:11","date_gmt":"2017-09-04T06:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.times.mw\/?p=52918"},"modified":"2017-09-04T08:29:11","modified_gmt":"2017-09-04T06:29:11","slug":"azam-tigers-blame-break-for-loss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.times.mw\/index.php\/2017\/09\/04\/azam-tigers-blame-break-for-loss\/","title":{"rendered":"Azam Tigers blame break for loss"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>A<\/strong>zam Tigers Coach, Patrick Kulemeka, has attributed his side\u2019s 2-0 loss to Nyasa Big Bullets at Chilomoni Stadium on Saturday, to the two-week break leading to the TNM Super League\u2019s final first-round game.<\/p>\n<p>Tigers waited for two weeks before playing Bullets as they were taking part in Carlsberg Cup games.<\/p>\n<p>The two weeks of inactivity affected Tigers, according to Kulemeka.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe boys have been training for two weeks without a game whereas our counterparts were active in the cup games,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Kulemeka also blamed poor coordination between his goalkeeper and defenders for the loss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just gave away the goals to Bullets, but we will work it out so that we can bounce back in the second-round. Otherwise, we have learnt some things that we need to work on so that we can maintain the top-eight finish like last year,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>In the game, Muhammad Sulumba scored both goals for Bullets.<\/p>\n<p>Tigers played without their key defender, Peter Cholopi who is with the national team in Morocco.<\/p>\n<p>In his absence, Harvey Machira played well.
